As always when shooting engagement sessions, I strive to create concepts and images that will be more than just another pretty picture. I try and connect with something important in their lives, whether it be activities they enjoy, memories they’ve made together, or even just create some NEW memories with some off-the-wall crazy fun we can dream up! In this case, we decided to revisit one of the sweet memories of their past…and arguable, the most important.
Crown Brewery of Crown Point, the generous host of our shooting location, is an awesome local brew house. Not only that, but this was also the very same spot that Jenn and Will had their first date! We couldn’t agree on a better place to host their engagement session. And hey, I’m sure they weren’t about to complain about sipping down a few delicious craft beers in the process, right? 😉
Although Crown Brewery is a place that you could ultimately spend an entire evening, we figured that for the sake of the photoshoot, we’d better move forward. From there, we stopped by a few cozy spots around our home town of Crown Point.
Turns out that Will is actually quite the stud on the guitar as well! He busted out one of his favorites to serenade us while we shot. 🙂
