Brianne and Scott – Valparaiso Wedding – Ogden Gardens + Aberdeen Manor

Brianne and Scott’s big day was nothing short of perfection. These two are one of the absolute sweetest couples I’ve had the opportunity to work with. So many smiles, laughs, and memories made on their big day. I can’t wait to share!

We started our morning at Brianne’s parents home in Valparaiso. While Brianne finished up with hair and makeup, we rounded up all her fun rings-n-things for some detail photos! LOVED this little octopus guy in the room Brianne got ready in! Couldn’t help myself. 🙂

And such a cute little ring box their ring bearer would carry down the isle for the wedding ceremony!

If we have extra time during the morning wedding prep, I always enjoy scouring the house (or hotel, or whatever) for a fun place to shoot some extra wedding ring photos. Found some moscow mule mugs and loved the color and texture!

Once we wrapped up at Brianne’s mom’s, we made our way over to the ceremony, which was held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton in Valparaiso.

I’m not sure who was more excited about this moment…Brianne’s Dad, Scott, or Grandma! 🙂

Leading up to the day of the wedding, the weather channel was predicting nothing but rain. With this in mind, we made sure to plan out as many backup locations as possible. As their ceremony finished and we started our family formals, the rain began to fall, and didn’t seem to be letting up. Then, JUST as we started to finish our formals, the rain miraculously started to clear! We all jumped for joy and quickly made our way out on location!

By the time we arrived at our first stop (Ogden Gardens in Valparaiso), we only had a small sprinkle of rain still falling. Thankfully, Brianne and Scott planned ahead with this super cute clear umbrella! Way to go, Brianne and Scott!
