Outdoor Wedding Spaces

Most brides choose Centennial Park as their wedding venue for the beautiful outdoor ceremony locations. Exchanging vows outdoors provides excellent opportunities for lovely wedding photography in Centennial Park. Brides will also love the natural beauty that makes expensive décor superfluous.

The Lake Terrace looks out over Maynard Lake and is perhaps the most popular ceremony site in Centennial Park. Flowing directly from the park’s banquet facility, many brides choose the Lake Terrace in conjunction with the banquet hall for an indoor/outdoor occasion. This beautiful lakeside ceremony location also boasts fabulous views of the park’s greenery.

The two formal gardens in Centennial Park make lovely settings for an intimate wedding ceremony or reception. Rose bushes, flowering plants, stone walkways, and white picket fences make these gardens quite romantic. Both gardens are equipped with white pergolas that can be used as altars for a wedding ceremony. Even if the bride and groom select another location for their wedding in Centennial Park, many still utilize the formal gardens for wedding photos.

The Entertainment Stage, excellent for larger ceremonies, is equipped with natural, tiered seating for up to 2,000 people. Complete with audio-visual equipment and lighting means that no matter how many guests are invited, each will be able to clearly see and hear the ceremony. This stage is adjacent to Maynard Lake and thus boasts excellent views.

Over Maynard Lake are several boardwalks and a bridge, any of which can be used as an intimate ceremony location. These spaces will be blocked from public access during a wedding ceremony, ensuring total privacy for the bride and groom as they exchange vows. A bridge wedding exudes a romantic and idyllic atmosphere that the bride will treasure in her memory forever.

Banquet Facility

A perfect venue for any Centennial Park wedding reception, this banquet hall is fairly new, being built only in 2008, and is centrally located in the park’s clubhouse. Up to 210 guests can be comfortably seated while still leaving plenty of room for dancing. The Centennial Park banquet hall has large windows out of which Lake Maynard, as well as the rest of the park’s natural beauty, can be clearly seen. A balcony also allows for a closer look at the surrounding scenery. Vaulted ceilings make this space open and airy, alleviating any bride’s fears of a stuffy wedding venue.

Using the Lake Terrace in conjunction with banquet hall for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception is perhaps the most popular choice among Centennial Park brides, but by no means the only option.
